Research Assistant

Gabriella joined the Edulytix team at Inflexion as a Research Assistant in 2021. Since joining Inflexion, her research has focused on teacher wellbeing, arts education, use of metaphors in teaching, and digital innovations in teaching and learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Gabriella arrived at Inflexion directly from her undergraduate studies, where her research emphasized intersectionality and social justice. Gabriella is excited to utilize data to help understand educational phenomena and is skilled in mixed methods research. As a first generation college graduate, she is passionate about making education exciting, meaningful, and attainable for every student. She holds a BA in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Political Economy and minors in Statistics and Pre-Law from California State University, Monterey Bay. In her free time, she enjoys making new friends, exploring new places, cooking (followed by eating), scrolling TikTok or Instagram, and catching up on sleep.
